|Artist, musicians and workshop-tutors are selected by sub-committees.|
For exhibition, we are looking for work of originality and excellence and we prioritise the work of artists with a connection to Wales. We welcome applications from artists who have not previously exhibited, so do not be put off if you feel your CV and 'previous exhibitions' elements are slight. Do pay attention however, to your artist's statement as we wish to engage with, and encourage, thoughtful work.
We like workshop tutors to be very experienced in their field and able to impart knowledge in a clear yet friendly way. Your students may range greatly in age and ability but we like to keep groups small so that everyone gets the attention they need.
Our submissions teams review applications regularly, but it may be sometime before a decision is made. We will inform you of our decision by email, but in any case, please allow at least 28 days before checking the status of your submission.
After review, we may request a meeting, or the provision of original artwork before making a final decision. We cannot pay expenses for such visits, but may travel to your studio if necessary.
