Artist

Alison lives and works in Mid Wales and has an ongoing fascination for the rural landscape which she inhabits. She is interested in the interaction between humankind, their artefacts and the environment and in how this relationship has made marks on the landscape. This has a particular relevance today where we have inherited the legacy of treating our environment as a commodity.

Drawing inspiration and imagery from her local landscape, Alison’s ceramic work is conceived as sculptural vessels which communicate with the observer and their surroundings.
