At this workshop we will be making a bezel set ring. You will be required to make a ring in your required size, create a bezel setting and solder it to the ring and then set your chosen stone in the setting.
The aim will be for you to have a bezel set ring with stone to take away at the end of the day.
There will be a selection of stones available to choose from on the day. Alternatively if you have a stone you wish to set you may bring that along instead. If the stone is above 10mm you may be asked to pay an additional charge for extra silver used to create your bezel.
This workshop would be suitable for complete beginners through to those with some previous silversmithing experience. It would also be perfect for those that have previously attended my ring making workshops.
If you usually wear glasses for close-up work please be sure to bring them with you! You may also wish to bring an apron / wear work clothes as silversmithing can be a messy job!
