A New Era

We are going to rebuild the Sheepshed! After a decade of providing artists, sculptors and visitors with a unique place for exhibitions and events, we welcome new beginnings at Mid Wales Arts Centre. Volunteers have worked relentlessly, dismantling walls, doors and moving large artworks including enamel murals by Stefan Knapp and stone sculptures by John Paddison.

Thanks go to Nick Lloyd who had all the right lifting equipment, Malcolm Carrol, Jeb Nichols, Glenn Morris and last but not least to John Evans who masterminded the whole thing and worked tirelessly to save as much as possible from landfill. The build will be completed by May and will provide a large well ventilated, dry space, energy provided by solar panels and ground source heating.
