Great evening at Michael Weston King and Oliver James Lomax concert

Well, we were promised a night to remember and they delivered!

Poet, Oliver James Lomax started the evening, eloquently reading his poems, before singer, songwriter Michael Weston King took to the “stage”, accompanied by the ever brilliant local musician, Clovis Phillips. They treated us to the whole of Kings’ new solo album, “The Struggle”, sharing stories along the way about how the songs came into being. They spoilt us at the end with a couple of extra hits from his repertoire; even our resident peacocks couldn’t resist joining in at time from outside!
