Robert Owen 250th Anniversary - Young People’s Sculpture Competition

To mark the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Owen, social reformer, young people in the area were invited to join Mid Wales Arts Sculpteen summer programme to create sculpture with the support of members of Sculpture Cymru that would reflect his spirit, energy and legacy.

We were able to do this thanks to support from the Arts Council of Wales in conjunction with the Oriel Davies Gallery

The exhibition opens on the 4th November for 2 weeks and will then tour local venues.
