Watch our first Live Stream
On the 6th September we made another first for MWA and broadcast our first live stream, a double bill of poetry and live music.
Our September Promises live stream was broadcast simultaneously on YouTube, Facebook, Periscope and Twitch and featured an outstanding lineup of local poets and musicians.
The poetry kicked off at 1:30pm and featured Kate Garrett and Glyn Edwards, who each read a selection of their work and took part in a Q&A with compare Pat Edwards.
The concert began at 4pm and featured young singer songwriter Abi Foster, Jeb Loy Nichols and Clovis Philips.
It was a really successful day and we'd like to thank everyone who joined us for the event and the live stream.
