After the success of last year's Sculpteen workshop, we are pleased to announce we will be hosting a series of day workshops this summer for young people aged 12-19.
Teenagers from Mid Wales who are interested in Art and Sculpture are invited to get involved in designing their own artwork for the new sculpture trail at Mid Wales Arts. They will have the chance to explore their ideas under expert guidance, gaining practical experience and theoretical knowledge.
The workshops will be held in the studio at Mid Wales Arts Centre, Caersws on Wednesdays from the 27th of July until 24th August. Those attending will learn about different approaches to sculpture and work with Tessa Hayward an accomplished sculptor who creates unique work using natural materials.
Thanks to support from The Ashley Family Foundation we have funding to run these workshops at affordable prices.
