Suitable for: This fun workshop is suitable for experienced and beginners in printmaking!
Further Information: First of all you will take some time to work on your design (please bring some ideas with you). Decide whether you want to produce one image or make multiple stencils which can be overprinted on top of each other.
Then you will produce your stencil using torn and cut out paper – this is usually the most time consuming part of the process! These paper stencils are incredibly resilient and can be used multiple times. You can also use masking tape as a stencil.
Jenny will provide cotton calico fabric which will be included in your fee plus cotton bags for sale on the day. If you would like to print on any other item (eg a tee shirt or apron) please bring this with you. Any items you bring should be 100% cotton for best results.
All materials are water-based and solvent free.
